1. Villkart’s Mango cancellation & refund policy ?
At Villkart, we deal in fresh and perishable agricultural products such as mangoes. Since these products involve advanced procurement, natural harvesting, packing, and logistics arrangements, our cancellation and refund policy differs from standard products. By placing an order for mangoes through Villkart, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions mentioned below.
- 100% Refund — If the customer cancels the order at least 10 days before the scheduled start of the dispatch date, the customer shall be eligible for a 100% refund of the total order amount
- No Refund — 1). Once order is dispatched or shipment processing has started or any. 2). In the event of any Force Majeure / Unavoidable Circumstances. 3). If Copmany Fail to dispatch the order from their End.
2. How are shipment damage or quality complaints handled?
Transit damage, spoilage, leakage, or quality-related concerns are handled under Villkart’s Shipment Damage Resolution Policy.
Customers must report issues within Max. 24 hours of delivery with:

- - Packaging photos
- - Clear Photo of Shiping label
- - Order details
- - Unboxing video/evidence
3. Are refunds or replacements possible for mango size, colour, or appearance variation ?
No. Refunds or replacements are not applicable for natural variations in mango size, shape, colour, appearance, or number of mangoes per box, since mangoes are natural agricultural products. Every mango naturally grows differently depending upon harvesting conditions, weather, farm location, and maturity stage. However, Villkart ensures that the total committed net weight of the order is maintained as promised.
4. What is the Expected Weight Loss During the Natural Ripening of Mangoes ?
A ripe mango typically weighs 5% to 15% less than it did when it was harvested in its raw (mature-green) stage. As the fruit ripens, natural processes such as respiration and transpiration cause it to lose moisture, resulting in a slight weight reduction.- Moisture Loss: — Raw mangoes are firmer and contain more water. During ripening, some of this moisture naturally evaporates through the skin, making the fruit lighter.
- Example: — A medium-sized mango weighing 250 grams when raw may lose approximately 12 to 35 grams of weight during ripening and weigh around 215 to 238 grams when fully ripe.
- Sugar Conversion: — While the fruit loses some water weight, complex starches are converted into natural sugars, which make the mango softer, sweeter, and more flavorful.
- Mangoes naturally lose 5% to 15% of their weight during ripening due to moisture loss. This is normal and is a natural characteristic of fresh mangoes.
- For example: • 3 kg at dispatch may become approximately 2.55–2.85 kg after ripening.
- • 2.5 kg at dispatch may become approximately 2.12–2.38 kg after ripening.
- This is a natural process and will not be considered a shortage. Therefore, weight loss due to natural ripening is not eligible for any refund, replacement, or compensation claim. Dispatch weight shall be considered as the reference weight.
5. What happens if Villkart is unable to ship the order?
If Villkart fails to dispatch the order due to reasons solely attributable to the company, the customer shall be eligible for a 100% refund.
6. What are Force Majeure or unavoidable circumstances?
Villkart shall not be held liable for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond operational control.
- - Natural disasters
- - Floods or heavy rainfall
- - Storms & earthquakes
- - Government restrictions
- - Transport disruptions
- - Long strikes
- - Supply chain interruptions
- - Cargo/shipping failures
Under such situations, Villkart may not provide any refund or provide a partial refund (generally 30–50%) depending upon actual operational losses and circumstances.
7. What does the customer agree to while placing the order?
By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept that:
- - Mangoes are perishable agricultural products
- - Dispatch timelines may vary naturally
- - Delivery timelines may vary operationally
- - Mango appearance may naturally differ
- - Refund & cancellation rules apply as per Mango Refund Policy
