VILLKART RETURN, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

At Villkart, we strive to deliver farm-fresh, naturally grown, and ethically sourced products directly from farms to customers. Due to the perishable and consumable nature of many products sold on our platform, returns, replacements, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the following terms and conditions.

By placing an order through Villkart, customers acknowledge and accept this policy.

  1. RETURN POLICY

For eligible non-perishable products, customers may request a return within 2 days from the date of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

• Product must remain unused and in original condition
• Product must be in original packaging with labels intact
• Product must include proof of purchase/invoice
• Product should not be damaged due to misuse or improper handling

Products returned without prior approval or return authorisation will not be accepted.

If a return request is approved, Villkart may provide return instructions where applicable.

  1. NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

The following products are generally non-returnable:

• Fresh fruits, including mangoes and seasonal produce
• Vegetables and fresh farm produce
• Grains and perishable food products
• Customized or personalised products
• Personal care products
• Gift cards
• Sale or promotional products
• Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or restricted products
• Products damaged due to customer misuse

  1. DAMAGES, MISSING ITEMS & QUALITY ISSUES

Customers are requested to inspect products immediately upon delivery.

If you receive:

• Damaged products
• Wrong products
• Missing products
• Defective products
• Spoiled products

Report within:

For perishable products: Within 24 hours of delivery
For non-perishable products: Within 48 hours (2 days) of delivery

Required documents:

• Order number
• Invoice copy
• One image of the outer package
• Two clear product images or one video
• Mandatory unboxing video showing issue clearly

Claims raised after the applicable reporting window may not be accepted due to the nature of the products.

  1. SPECIAL POLICY FOR PERISHABLE PRODUCTS

Perishable products including mangoes, fruits, vegetables, grains, and fresh produce, are generally not eligible for returns or refunds once delivered.

Only verified cases of:

• Wrong item delivered
• Severe transit damage
• Missing items
• Quality issues confirmed after review

may be considered for replacement, store credit, or refund at Villkart's discretion.

Refunds are generally not applicable for perishables.

  1. NATURAL PRODUCT VARIATION

Since Villkart products are naturally grown and may be chemical-free or handmade, natural variations may occur in:

• Taste
• Colour
• Texture
• Sweetness
• Shape
• Size
• Appearance

Such natural variations shall not be considered defects and will not qualify for return or refund claims.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY

Customers may request cancellation by contacting customer support.

Cancellation requests will not be accepted if:

• Order has been dispatched
• Packing process has begun
• Shipment has been handed over to logistics partners

Special cancellation terms may apply for seasonal and pre-booked products such as mangoes.

  1. RETURN TO ORIGIN (RTO) ORDERS

Villkart partners with third-party logistics providers for delivery.

If an order is returned due to:

• Customer unavailable at delivery
• Incorrect address details
• Delivery refusal
• Multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts

Additional shipping charges may apply for re-shipment.

This condition does not apply in cases where delivery issues occurred due to Villkart or logistics partner errors.

  1. REFUND POLICY

Upon receiving and inspecting a valid claim, Villkart will notify customers whether the request is approved or rejected.

If approved:

• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during purchase
• Refund processing may take 7–10 business days
• Banks and payment gateways may require additional processing time

If more than 15 business days have passed after refund approval, customers may contact support@villkart.com.

  1. CLAIM RESPONSE TIMELINE

• Claim acknowledgment: Within 24–48 hours
• Resolution timeline: Usually within 7 business days

11. Special Policy for Mango Orders

Mango orders are seasonal and perishable in nature and are governed under a separate Mango Order Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy, which forms an integral part of this Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Customers placing mango orders through Villkart acknowledge and agree that mango purchases shall additionally be subject to specific terms related to:

  • Order cancellation timelines
  • Refund eligibility
  • Dispatch schedules
  • Seasonal and climatic delays
  • Natural harvesting and maturity cycles
  • Delivery timelines
  • Product size and natural variations

In case of any conflict between the general Return & Refund Policy and the Mango Order Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy, the specific Mango Policy shall prevail for mango-related orders.
