To ensure safe transportation and maintain a shelf life of approximately 7–10 days, our mangoes are harvested and shipped in a raw stage.
The ripening condition of the mangoes upon arrival depends on the transit time taken by the courier partner:
🥭 Metro Cities: Usually delivered within 1–2 days. Mangoes may still be raw and may require 3–5 additional days to ripen naturally.
🥭 Major Cities & State Capitals: Usually delivered within 2–3 days. Mangoes may still be raw and may require 2–3 additional days to ripen.
🥭 Other Locations: Delivery may take 4–5 days, during which the mangoes continue their natural ripening process and may arrive in a semi-ripe condition.
Since Villkart does not use any artificial ripening agents, the ripening process depends on natural factors such as fruit maturity, temperature, humidity, weather conditions, and storage environment. We request our customers to appreciate and support this natural process.
